I’m Piper Landis, owner and instructor of Dance Cookeville, and I’ve been a professional dance instructor since 1999. Before relocating to Tennessee, I taught at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later established my own independent dance studio.

I specialize in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, and Wedding dances and have trained with some of the nation’s top dance coaches. Throughout my career, I’ve been honored with Top Teacher and Top Studio awards in recognition of my teaching and studio excellence. I was also featured as a foxtrot dancer in the 2016 film Carol.

I enjoy teaching dancers of all levels, whether they’re learning for fun, preparing for a wedding or special event, or getting ready for a performance. My goal is to make learning to dance welcoming, enjoyable, and easy to understand while helping each student build confidence and sharing my genuine love of dance!
